Philosophy of Care

Dr. Yarbrough's philosophy is to approach each patient and their health with individualized care and compassion.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Yarbrough is a clinical nuclear medicine physician offering the gamut of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures. She has special clinical interest and expertise in nuclear cardiology.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Yarbrough's research focuses on the development and assessment of critical reasoning at all levels of medical education, with particular emphasis on educational equity and human development. In addition, she is also interested in the use of noninvasive imaging to examine the intersections between inflammation, neurodegenerative and cardiovascular diseases.
