Philosophy of Care

Interventional radiology is a specialty that many people do not recognize, but which has tremendous value in the management of medical conditions throughout the body. I find great pleasure in working with patients to understand options that they may not know about and in helping them to address their conditions with minimally invasive techniques.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Andrews is an interventional radiologist with decades of experience in the management of complex disease processes using minimally invasive image-guided procedures. His main clinical interest is the management of conditions associated with liver disease, including portal hypertension, liver cancer, biliary disease, and liver transplant.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Andrews is a pioneer in the management of uterine fibroids, pelvic congestion syndrome, and venous insufficiency with minimally invasive techniques and has written extensively on these subjects. His current research interest are focused upon liver cancer, portal hypertension, and the role of Interventional Radiology in liver transplant patients.
