Dr. Hernandez is a diagnostic clinical and research medical physicist with an expertise in breast x-ray imaging, cone-beam computed tomography (CT), and computed tomography.
Dr. Hernandez has a special interest in the development of imaging systems, the quantification of radiation dose, and the evaluation of imaging performance utilizing state-of-the-art metrics. He is also committed to minimizing the environmental impact of Radiology with a specific focus on improving the energy efficiency of medical imaging equipment.
