Dr. Mitchell practices evidence-based, multidisciplinary care using advanced imaging techniques. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Mitchell is a board certified radiologist with subspecialty training in thoracic and cardiovascular imaging. She specializes in diagnosing diseases affecting the heart and lungs, and has advanced training in the use of chest radiography, chest and cardiovascular CT, and cardiac MRI.   

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Mitchell’s academic interests focus on improving the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic and cardiovascular conditions. She has special interests in lung cancer screening, non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, CT radiation dose reduction techniques, and evaluation of interstitial and inhalational lung diseases.
