My philosophy of care as a cardiothoracic radiologist is centered on patient-focused, clinically integrated, and evidence-based imaging. I believe that radiology is not simply about identifying abnormalities on images; it is about understanding the patient’s clinical problem and providing accurate, actionable information that directly contributes to diagnosis, treatment, and improved outcomes.
Dr. Ragini Sharma is a Cardiothoracic Radiologist and Cardiovascular Imaging Researcher
with extensive clinical, academic, and research experience in advanced cardiac and thoracic
imaging.
Her clinical expertise includes Cardiac CT and MRI, myocardial strain analysis, tissue
characterization, cardiac perfusion imaging, congenital heart disease, and thoracic oncology
imaging. She has also developed broad experience in whole-body imaging, including CT,
MRI, ultrasound, Doppler, mammography, and conventional radiography.
Research interests include cardiovascular imaging, oncologic imaging
biomarkers, quantitative MRI, myocardial strain, and the application of artificial intelligence in
medical imaging. Passionate about providing high-quality patient-centered imaging, advancing cardiovascular imaging practice, and supporting the education and development of the next generation of radiologists.
