The application process
The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). All applicants are considered and appointments are made subject to the rules and regulations of the NRMP.
Interested applicants may apply in one of the two following ways. An application can be submitted through the SCC and ACS Fellowship Application Service of the Surgical Critical Care Program Directors Society (SAFAS). An application can be submitted directly to UC Davis by completing the UC Davis application form and returning it to the address below or to the e-mail address below. The application directly to UC Davis should also include a curriculum vitae, a passport photo and three letters of reference. The letters of reference may either accompany the application or be sent under separate cover.
Interviews will occur throughout June, July, August and early September 2020. Scheduled dates for interviews will be available in early June 2020. Further information or clarification about the fellowship or the application process is available at the address and phone number below.
Applicant qualifications include:
1) Completion of approved general surgery residency
2) California license (or eligibility) and Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Surgery
The Critical Care Fellowship Program participates in the SCC and ACS Fellowship Application Service (SAFAS). We will only accept applications through this process for the 2020 "Match". We require an application form, CV, passport size photo, and letter of intent and have three letters of recommendations.
