Dr. Evans likes to lead a team approach to patient care in order to optimize the patient experience from every aspect. She takes great pride in being able to collaborate and work with patients, considering them the most integral part of the patient care experience.
Dr. Evans is a general Cardiac Surgeon offering all aspects of Heart Surgery. In addition she has clinical expertise in Transcathter Aortic Valve Replacement. She is the Associate Program Director of the integrated Cardiothoracic surgical residency program and has a special interest in surgical education.
Dr. Evans focuses on how to improve surgical education and training. She also participates in research pertaining to advancement of minimally invasive transcatheter approaches to structural heart disease.
