Dr. Nazarek believes in a patient centered approach to surgical care with particular focus on patient outcomes, recovery and quality of life.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Nazarek is a board-certified general surgeon who offers emergency surgical care for adults and veterans with acute surgical needs. She is an Active-Duty United States Air Force general surgeon, assigned to David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base and is currently practicing at UC Davis Medical Center and Veteran Affairs Medical Center. She has a special interest in robotics and incorporating minimally invasive surgery techniques in acutely ill patients with surgical needs.

Dr. Nazarek's academic interest is in robotic and minimally invasive surgery and their application to patients with emergency surgical needs.
