Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care centers around the patient experience. How can I actively engage the patient, family, and community? Together, we focus on optimal short and long term outcomes. It is through this shared vision that healing occurs and progress is made for a lifetime.
Dr. Ellie Curtis is an Active Duty United States Air Force trauma surgeon, assigned at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) located on Travis Air Force Base, California. She is part of an ongoing military-civilian partnership between DGMC and UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Curtis' research focuses on burn, trauma, and palliative care.
