Dr. Graves believes in compassionate, personalized, and team-based care. She is committed to continuous learning in order to provide the most up-to-date, highest quality care for each patient. She believes medicine is a team sport and values the contributions of all members of the team in providing excellent medical care.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Graves is a board certified surgeon scientist and fellowship trained Endocrine surgeon. She specializes in the comprehensive, personalized surgical treatment of patients with disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. She has special clinical interest and expertise in surgical innovation and minimally invasive techniques, such as transabdominal and retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy, remote access thyroidectomy, and focused parathyroidectomy.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Graves enjoys running and hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, and exploring Sacramento with her husband and dog Billie.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Graves' research interests include improving surgical outcomes in diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands, particularly through innovative procedures and new technology. She is also interested in the ways that patients experience their diseases, treatment, and interactions with healthcare.
