Why UC Davis Health: 
I chose UC Davis for the strong training and exposure to the
various major general surgery subspecialties, which are well
represented across the board. We also get the chance to rotate at
various sites across Sacramento, giving exposure to various
practice patterns outside of academic medicine. Finally, the
residency has a positive and supportive culture where people
look out for each other. Sacramento is a great place to live with
lots to eat and do just a short drive away.
