Lee Ranalli, D.N.P., C.R.N.A.
Associate Clinical Professor
Lee Ranalli is an Associate Clinical Professor for the DNP-Nurse Anesthesia program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. With over 15 years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) combined 10 years of being an educator, Ranalli brings a vast amount of experience to his didactic roles.
Ranalli has participated in professional advocacy for over a decade. He has held positions within the Arizona Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, including board of director, president, and education chair. He also spent time on the Advanced Practice Advisory Committee for the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Prior to attending the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia, Ranalli worked at the UCLA Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. Upon graduation, he moved back to his home state of Arizona to practice as a CRNA. After multiple years serving as Chief CRNA and Clinical Coordinator, he decided to pursue his passion of education by becoming a faculty member at the Nurse Anesthesia program at Midwestern University.
Ranalli holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama, a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University-Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University. Ranalli is currently a contributing co-author for the Obstetric Anesthesia chapter within the textbook Nurse Anesthesia. He is the recipient of the 34th Annual AANA Didactic Instructor of the Year presented at the AANA Annual Congress.
