Assistant Dean for Administration

Holly Evans, M.B.A.

Holly Evans is assistant dean for administration at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. In that role, she serves as a key adviser to the dean and the leadership team of the school. Evans leads in financial reporting, forecasting and policy setting on administrative matters, organizational development, risk management and operations. She is also responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing administrative systems in the school as it expands degree programs, enrollment and research projects.

Evans brings more than 25 years of higher education leadership experience in the areas of finance, human resources and business operations to the school’s team. Prior to joining the School of Nursing, Evans was the founding senior human resources director for the emerging Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine where she contributed to the business case, developed a 10-year growth plan for the school, and built human resources operations and programs from the ground up. In addition, Evans was the founding executive director for administration at the University of California, Riverside’s fully accredited medical school. There, she led operations, finance, human resources, workforce planning and operationalization for a start-up medical school, Graduate Medical Education programs, and a community-based clinical enterprise.

Evans earned a Master of Business Administration with an Information Systems Emphasis from the University of Redlands. She also holds a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and is a Society for Human Resources Management, Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
