Becky Ashlock, D.N.P., C.R.N.A.
Assistant Clinical Professor
Becky Ashlock is a faculty member with the DNP-Nurse Anesthesia program at Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. Prior to joining UC Davis, Ashlock was an Assistant Professor at the Leighton School of Nursing. She has also served as adjunct faculty at Samuel Merritt University, teaching Health Informatics and guest lecturing in Pharmacology.
Ashlock's clinical practice centers on obstetric anesthesia, where she cares for parturients, including those with high-risk conditions. Her research interests include equitable and linguistically appropriate care for parturients. She has also presented anesthesia care for patients with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices.
Ashlock earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California, her Master of Science in Nursing Anesthesia from the Kaiser School of Anesthesia, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from California State University, Fullerton. She is currently completing her PhD in Nursing at Texas Woman's University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), the California Association of Nurse Anesthetists (CANA) and Sigma Theta Tau. Dr. Ashlock is also the President-Elect for the Kaiser Permanente Nurse Anesthetists Association (KPNAA).
