Chloe Gomez, D.N.P., C.R.N.A.
Assistant Clinical Professor
Chloe Gomez is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the DNP-Nurse Anesthesia Program at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. In her years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, she exemplified a passion for nurse anesthesia clinical education as a clinical educator at one of the largest centers for nurse anesthesia clinical education within the Kaiser Permanente system. Gomez’s leadership in clinical education and evidence-based practice demonstrates her dedication to nursing and nurse anesthesia excellence.
Gomez began her nursing career as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit as a new grad nurse in 2013. In 2016, she graduated with her nurse anesthesia degree and has worked at multiple facilities including Loma Linda University Medical Center, Desert Regional Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County. Within her clinical role at Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County, Gomez was a clinical educator for Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia. As a clinical educator, Gomez trained more nurse anesthesia students per month than any other Southern California Kaiser Permanente facility.
As a clinical educator at Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County, Gomez led up to eight student nurse anesthetists every month through their clinical journey. This is where her dedication to nurse anesthesia education grew deeper and her understanding of the importance of academic nursing excellence originated.
Gomez holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in nurse anesthesia from California State University at Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene University.
