Assistant Clinical Professor

Crystal N. CampbellCrystal Campbell is an assistant clinical professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. She previously taught at Florida Gulf Coast University as an assistant professor and later was promoted to Assistant Program Director. She currently precepts RRNAs and SRNAs in the clinical setting at M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, Minn.

Campbell has practiced as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) for over a decade in a variety of settings, ranging from ambulatory surgery centers to level I trauma centers. Her interest in scholarship research focuses on creating health care environments and educational settings that are culturally sensitive, inclusive and equitable for all. She has taught courses in previous DNP-Nurse Anesthesiology programs that include Basic Principles of Anesthesia, Advanced Principles of Anesthesia, Advanced Health Assessment Lab, Organizational Systems and Leadership, Professional Role of the Nurse Anesthetist, and Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology.

Campbell received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, Master of Science in Anesthesiology from Barry University, and Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice with an emphasis on health care administration from Texas Wesleyan University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and their DEI committee, a member of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists and their regional DEI and Government Relations committees, a member of the National League of Nursing and a member of the Diversity in Nurse Anesthesia Mentorship Program.
