Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor

Beth Funke GallBeth Funke Gall is the Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor for the Nurse-Led Mobile Health Clinic at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis. She is a practice nurse practitioner, spending 24 years practicing in multiple different specialties including family practice, internal medicine, psychopharmacology, neurointerventional radiology, gastrointestinal surgery, cardiac stress testing and acute infusion and infection management. She is committed to empowering patients through education and self-advocacy to achieve their desired goals and optimal health outcomes.

Gall began precepting NP and PA students early in her NP career and saw the need to provide a bridge to successful APP practice by continuing beyond preceptorship to mentoring  both newly graduated and new-to-practice specialty NPs, PAs, and RNs.

Prior to joining Betty Irene Moore, Gall served as a Nurse Practitioner III at UC Davis Health for the AIM Service Clinic. She also managed hypersensitivity and anaphylaxis reactions during patients’ infusions in the AIM Clinic and performed acute advanced wound care on complex wound patients being seen in the AIM Clinic.

Gall graduated as the Herz Gold Medalist with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Child Development from University of Nevada-Reno. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing—Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Phoenix.
