Betty Irene Moore Fellowship convocation
Annual cornerstone event for nurse leader fellows
The annual convocation in mid-July is a cornerstone event of the fellowship. The week-long gathering in Sacramento, California, builds community among the cohorts and fosters connection among fellows, faculty and the Fellowship National Advisory Council.
The fellow explores contemporary issues in health care and population health with the Fellowship National Advisory Council and participates in structured learning activities focused on leadership, innovation and networking. Sessions are led by the national program office, the UC Graduate School of Management and program faculty who are experts in their fields.
Convocation also includes off-site experiential learning experiences for the fellow to explore their leadership strengths and opportunities for growth. Attendance at convocation is required for the fellow for four years and in the final year the fellow presents their project results.
